Terms of service

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all orders placed through the Languedoc online store ("we", "us", "our") by both consumers and business customers. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms as they stand at the time of your order. These Terms apply in addition to any other policies referenced on our website, including our returns and refund policy.

2. Contracting Party

Your contract is with:
Languedoc
120 Rue Gontier Patin
80100 Abbeville, France
Email: contact@languedoc.shop
Phone: 33669842926

For any questions about an order, these Terms, or our policies, please contact us using the details above.

3. Conclusion of Contract

The product listings displayed in our online store do not constitute a binding offer on our part; they are an invitation for you to place an order. When you click the order button at the end of the checkout process, you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods contained in your cart.

Receiving an automatic order confirmation by email does not, by itself, constitute our acceptance of your offer. A binding contract of sale is only formed once we either send you a separate order acceptance email confirming that your order has been accepted, or once we dispatch the goods to you, whichever occurs first.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on our product pages are shown in euros (EUR) and include statutory VAT as well as any other mandatory price components. Any shipping costs applicable to your order are calculated separately and shown to you during checkout, before you complete and confirm your order.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Maestro
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

The payment methods available to you will also be presented directly at checkout. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship to the following regions:

  • France
  • United Kingdom

Orders are processed with a handling time of 1 to 2 business days from the date the contract is concluded. Once dispatched, the estimated delivery time is 3 to 5 business days. These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your delivery address and other factors outside our control. Any additional shipping details specific to your order will be shown at checkout.

6. Retention of Title

The goods delivered to you remain our property until they have been paid for in full. Until title has passed to you, you must not sell, pledge, or otherwise dispose of the goods in a way that would prejudice our ownership rights.

7. Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal from your purchase. We offer a return window of 30 days from the date you receive your order, during which you may return eligible items to us.

We (the merchant) bear the cost of return shipping for eligible returns. Once we receive and process your returned item, refunds are issued within 5 days. As an alternative to a refund, we are also happy to offer an exchange, where applicable.

Full details on how to initiate a return, eligibility conditions, and the withdrawal process are set out in our Right of Withdrawal terms, which form part of these Terms.

8. Warranty

In addition to your statutory warranty rights, which remain unaffected, products purchased from us are covered by a warranty period of 2 years from the date of delivery. If you believe a product is faulty or does not conform to its description within this period, please contact us using the details in Section 2 above so that we can assist you.

9. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can access at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obligated, nor generally willing, to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

10. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms, and any contract concluded through our store, are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you are habitually resident. Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected, and the contract will continue to be interpreted as if the invalid provision had not been included.
