Overview
This Warranty Policy explains the protections that apply to products purchased from Languedoc. It covers both the statutory warranty that applies automatically under law and any additional manufacturer warranty attached to a product. It also explains how to report a fault and what to expect once you do.
Statutory warranty
All goods sold by Languedoc are covered by the statutory warranty for defects. This means that if an item you receive is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to what was ordered, you are entitled to a remedy at no cost to you.
In practice, this generally means that we will first offer to repair or replace the faulty item. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, or cannot be provided within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a refund, where the law allows. This statutory protection exists independently of, and in addition to, any manufacturer warranty described below, and it is not reduced or limited by it.
Manufacturer warranty
Where a product carries an additional manufacturer warranty, it applies for 2 years from the date of purchase. This manufacturer warranty is offered on top of, and does not replace, your statutory rights described above. If a product develops a fault that is covered by the manufacturer warranty, we will guide you through the appropriate resolution once we have reviewed the details of your claim.
Reporting a fault
If you believe a product is defective, please contact us at contact@languedoc.shop as soon as you notice the issue. To help us assess and resolve your claim as quickly as possible, please include the following in your message:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the fault
- Photos of the issue, where possible
Once we receive your report, we will review the information provided and get back to you with the next steps. Depending on the situation, this may involve a repair, a replacement, or another remedy consistent with your statutory rights and, where applicable, the manufacturer warranty.
